Spent the day icing the knee and rolling out the band. Stretching it was very painful and turned me into a hot sweaty mess. Still in pain today. May repeat everything today. Here's how it went.<br /><br />Leave the house at 5:15 pm<br /><br />Mile 0 - Very humid out, I hope it gets better<br />Mile .5 - Starting to rain, feels much better<br />Mile 1 - Under 8:30 warmup mile, and pouring rain now, let's keep going<br />Mile 1.5 - This is crazy, I'm stupid for running in this<br />Mile 2 - 7:27 mile, lightening, thunder, going further is probably not smart..turning around<br />Mile 2.5 - Nothing but more rain, lightening, thunder, this looks very bad<br />Mile 3 - 7:26 mile, rain is hurting now, lightening is touching the ground...HURRY HOME<br />Mile 3.5 - It's straight hailing outside...GET HOME NOW<br />Mile 4 - 7:40 mile, HAIL HURTS BAD...I am going to die out here<br />Mile 4.5 - FINALLY HOME!!! It would have to be something pretty amazing during the test run that would make me switch. The Kinvaras have been a major part of my training program and am now up to between 50-60 miles per week in them. I liked the feel of the Cortana but it was too heavy and at that price can't justify it. I love...Anything would be better than my Piranhas. I love those shoes, since they are the closest to barefoot running that I can find. But the wear on them are just horrible. I just ordered another pair from runningwarehouse so I can have it for steamtown. They are always on backorder, so hopefully they'll arrive sometime next month. If this shoe works out, I may have to get a pair myself.
