I was 4th overall in the race (passed the number 5 guy at 24.5). We were directed off course at mile 13.5 and added on .2 or 80s to the race. So while I ran "officially" a 2:55:49 or something like that, i hit the Marathon in a PR of 2:54:2x. Not bad for a mostly workout based race with no rea taper...Boston ahead in 5 weeks!
April Week 10: 0 (blister recovery program) April YTD: 96
The dead skin is off Blisterzilla and I'm trying to toughen the new skin before Sunday. Any recommendations from anyone? Still too tender to attempt a short run. I'm walking around barefoot as often as possible.
School is a killer, sorry I have been MIA on posting... I have been running like crazy though. Varsity track has me totally in line! I got all my millage from my coach today.
Week #8: 37 miles Week #9: 39 miles Week #10: 42 miles Week #11: 26 miles

I PRed in my indoor conference (like districts) meet today in two events. Cut 9 seconds off my mile for a 6:40 mile, not my fastest ever, but fastest for the season so far. Again not my fastest ever but season best and I cut off 15 seconds for my 800m. Don't ask me how I did it because it shocked me too... 2:48. The week before I was running 3:20 800s in practice and felt like they were difficult. Very successful meet I'd say! I hope everyone is well and pumped up for the Run Rogue 5k this weekend!! Totally wish I could be there.
I dropped out of Shamrock. Week 9's Blisterzilla still wasn't fully healed. I'm going to work on shorter distances until the skin toughens again, and then I'm going to have Chris pace me to a marathon PR. :)
My mileage for 3/10 week was 73.
