A big shout out this month to Kelly Paul, who recently completed her 2013 Challenge by logging an official 1,001.25 miles.  Way to go, Kelly!

Sorry I fell a little behind on the blogging.  If everyone can update their challenge miles through 4/21/13 here, I will update and post the challenge progress next week.

For anyone interested, we will be meeting at the W&OD trail for a Saturday morning group run at 9am on 4/20/13.

Week #4: 1/21/13 - 1/27/13

We started the Run Rogue 5k in 2012 to honor two of our most competitive athletes as they battled cancer. With a generous outpouring of support from our racers, sponsors, and community members, our inaugural race had 1,115 registered participants and raised $20,000 for charity!

This year, the Run Rogue 5k will feature a wheelchair division, a stroller division, and a team competition with awards for fastest team and for largest team.  There is only a little more than a week to register for the 2013 Run Rogue 5k before prices increase.  Be sure to enter team name "Rogue Racers" if you plan to run for our team.  Hope to see you on race day!

Week #2: 1/7/13 - 1/13/13

Congratulations to all of the challenge participants on a fantastic week #1!  Keep the mileage posts and words of encouragement coming strong.  Only 51 weeks to go!

There will be one group run this week on Saturday 1/12/13 at 8:30am at the W&OD trail in Vienna, VA.
