The race singlets are in and will be sent for screen printing early next week. It looks like they will definitely be ready in time for the Parkway Classic. Maybe we can organize everyone at the race and take a team photo?
Schedule notes for this week:
- Tuesday 12:15pm Track Workout @ Washington-Lee - AS SCHEDULED
- Tuesday 6:30pm Track Workout @ Chantilly - AS SCHEDULED (check the blog comments since many people have been coming early on Tuesdays and on additional days of the week)
- Saturday 8am Long Run @ W&OD - MOVED TO C&O CANAL (assuming it doesn't rain too much early in the week)
Happy training!
Good luck to everyone this weekend.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Peter with a 19:27 and 2nd in his age group at the Scope It Out 5k!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Shamrockers. 15:43 PR in the marathon is awesome. Way 2 go Tom!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Bob, Heather, Keith, Peter, and Tom on their awesome races this weekend! I guess you can say that Tom's 15:43 PR proves that track work really does pay off! Way to go Rogue Racers! :-)
ReplyDeleteKeith, great time on a hilly course! Tom, that is an amazing PR! Rogue Racers are really rocking and the peak season is just starting.
ReplyDeletehow long is the long run this weekend?
ReplyDeleteand possibly more important -- where is the meetup afterward? baked and wired? for future reference, there is now a Sprinkles on M Street... recon may be in order
This weekend is a 12 mile run. Not sure about the end of run info.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to everyone on their awesome race times this weekend.
Will be at the track at 8:50 tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all on some great times posted this last week! All that hard work and training seems to be paying off. Tom you rocked the Shamrock!!
ReplyDeleteWe will be out at 8:50PM tomorrow at the track. Thunderstorms and treadmill workouts stink!
ReplyDeleteLet me know if anyone is interested in running at WO&D Sunday am instead of Sat C&O. I am fairly flexible on the time as well...as long as its not too late.
ReplyDeleteRan 10 last night and will be at the track doing 6 x 800 at 6:30 tonight.
ReplyDeleteWe are still on for tomorrow's AM run (8am) at the C&O Canal. The plan calls for a 12 mile run, but I think we might also have a couple people running 7 miles. Afterwards we will meet up at Baked & Wired for coffee/pastries!
ReplyDeleteHope to see you all there.
P.S. Sunday is the TEAM BT Track-a-thon at Chantilly HS from 11am-2pm. Come out and run a few laps for brain cancer (or cheer on people running laps to raise money for brain cancer).
