Week of 3/12/12 - 3/18/12

Congratulations to all of the Rogue Racers who raced this weekend.  Adam placed 4th overall and 1st in his division at the Columbia SC Marathon in 2:56:07.  Austin, John, BethAnn, and Justin all got PR's at the Four Courts Four Miler in Arlington, VA.  Mackenzie and Finn participated in the Van Metre 1 Mile Fun Run in Ashburn, VA, and Mackenzie ran the entire mile with no walk breaks!  Check out the race results page of the Rogue Racers site for official race times!

Daylight savings time begins on Sunday, March 11th at 2:00am.  Don't forget to move your clocks ahead one hour if you plan on coming out to Burke Lake for the 9am run on March 11th!  Also, please note that both the Monday and the Wednesday night track workouts next week are not at their usual locations due to sports games at our normal sites.  We should have a little more daylight for the weeknight workouts beginning on Monday, so this week is the perfect week to get back on track!

  2. Keith, congrats on your PR and 3rd in your division at the St. Patrick's Day 8K this morning in DC. What a great way to finish your speedwork before your race next weekend! :-)

  3. Get it Keith! You have no hills on this course, so you had better have a nice little PR in your pocket!

  5. Thanks guys! It was a fun morning and the weather was near perfect. I love seeing everyone's PRs on the Rogue Racers results page.
I ran today's race without a watch for the first time and tried to stick with Doug and just race. I'm really looking forward to Shamrock and then getting back and running the Run Rogue 5k with everyone.

  7. Hi Justin,
I won't be able to because I teach at Pepperdine tonight. Have fun!

  8. I won't be at track either.
I have a dinner to go to tonight, but I ran at 6:30 this morning. So I did get today's run in. I still have to figure out how to fit in tomorrow's run. My new GOTR duties makes squeezing in the Monday & Thursday runs harder.

  9. Hannah and I have lunch from 10:50am-12:00pm tomorrow if you want to come to Arlington and run? That's the only break we get tomorrow, but you are welcome to join!

  10. George and I ran our 7 miles at 6:30 this morning so Mandy & I can go into DC for noon and I can do GOTR at 3. I think I will be a Girl On the Walk this afternoon.
    Enjoy your lunch run.
